Barossa wine production from the Barossa Valley Wine industry plays a major role in the Barossa Valley ecconomy by bringing employment for much of the population. The larges Barossa wine vineyards of the Barossa Valley are the most distinctive feature of the area. The success of the Barossa wine industry has historically biennial Barossa Valley Vintage Barossa wine Festival. The festival draws international visitors on each occasion with entertainment, street parades, concerts and wonderful food.

The Barossa Valley is primarily known for its Barossa shiraz wine because Barossa valley Shiraz is the most popular and requested of Australia's wines. Shiraz from VineCrest.
Sparking Shiraz shows attractive peppery Shiraz aromas with subtle oak characters. The rich spicy Vinecrest Shiraz is enhanced with underlying wild strawberry and yeasty creaminess. In producing this quality Sparkling Shiraz extended maturation on yeast lees has greatly enhanced its complexity – serve chilled and enjoy.

White Port Golden Lightning is a brilliant wine of exceptional quality - Dry White Port is complex while displaying a lovely balance of velvety oak, enhanced by hints of seasoned pear. Vinecrest White Port wine is a wine to be enjoyed both chilled or at room temperature.


Cabernet Sauvignon from Vinecrest.
Cabernet Sauvignon is a Fifth Generation premium quality Vinecrest Cabernet Sauvignon and displays the deep Ruby red colour traditionally found in Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Made entirely from grapes sourced from the Turrung Vineyard located in the heart of the Barossa Valley. The Cabernet Sauvignon is then matured for 22 months in French Oak casks to develop a bouquet and to display a rich dark plum characteristic with minty Cabernet aromas. This full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon is well balanced with pronounced varietal fruit flavours, integrated soft tannins and a sweet oak finish.

Barossa Semillon Late Harvest from Vinecrest.
Barossa Semillon Late Harvest grapes are selected for this Late Harvest wine and allowed to mature to raisin ripeness. The grapes are handpicked 5 weeks after the normal vintage. The distinctive honeyed aromas of Vinecrest Semillon have great complexity, enhancing the luscious fruit flavours, balanced by a clean finish. Semillon is a sweeter style desert wine which can be enjoyed now or will be greatly enhanced with keeping.


Merlot Wine from Vinecrest.
Merlot production at VineCrest continues the tradition of excellence that continued in this true classical
Barossa style Merlot wine and offers a full range of Merlot characters: ripe berry flavours, with a hint of white pepper. Our Vinecrest Merlot wines are matured for 24 months in specially selected French oak hogsheads to finish with a light tannin astringency.

Rose Wine from Vinecrest.
This refreshing Rose Wine made from premium free run Shiraz juice has been produced to provide a light and vibrant colour and a distinctive fruity bouquet. Vinecrest Rose Wine is beautifully balanced by a slightly sweet and flavoursome palate from a touch of natural fermentation effervescence has been retained to make this a light soft easy drinking wine. Best served chilled.

Sauvignon Blanc from Vinecrest.
Our “Two Colours White” premium quality Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blend these two distinctive grape varieties. The
Vinecrest Sauvignon Blanc blend was crafted by selecting the fruit at strategic stages of maturity and ripeness. Vinecrest Sauvignon Blanc produces a lively, refreshing and beautifully stylized wine. Sauvignon Blanc is pale straw in colour with a bouquet showing intense grassy and herbaceous aromas. The offering on the palate is generous and soft with mouth filling fruity flavours traditionally found in a Sauvignon Blanc.
